Biography
A voice born of gospel, shaped by discipline, delivered in soul.
Clovis V. Wright Jr. — The Silver Fox of Southern Soul — blends the depth of gospel with the smoothness of classic R&B and the flair of the modern Southern Soul scene.
After twenty-eight years in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, Clovis brought that same passion and discipline to music. Breakout singles "Pretty Lady" and "Touchin" introduced fans to a sound that's soulful, genuine, and unforgettable.
A family man rooted in Meridian, Mississippi, Clovis connects with fans on and off the stage — inviting them right into the story he's singing.

Fan Love
What They're Saying
Clovis took the stage and the entire room went silent. That man has a gift straight from God. "Pretty Lady" had me in tears — it reminded me of my late husband. I'll be a Silver Fox fan for life.
We booked Clovis for our charity gala and he absolutely delivered. Professional, personable, and powerful on stage. Our guests were talking about his performance weeks later. Already planning to bring him back.
"Touchin" came on the radio and I had to pull over just to feel it fully. Clovis Wright is the real deal — old-school soul wrapped in the kind of class you rarely find anymore. Can't wait to see him live.
